Education Bus Visit – A Fantastic Learning Experience for All!
We recently welcomed the Life Education Bus to school, and it was an incredibly valuable experience for all our pupils. Each year group took part in engaging, age-appropriate sessions that explored important topics around health, wellbeing, and making positive choices.
Year 6 pupils had thoughtful discussions around mental health, the dangers of smoking, and different types of behaviour, including passive, aggressive, and assertive communication. They explored how to confidently stand by their decisions, even when faced with pressure, and learned about the importance of looking after their brains and overall wellbeing.
Year 4 focused on understanding the brain and the harmful effects of vaping. They also explored the concept of peer pressure—what it is, how it can influence choices, and strategies to respond to it in a positive and confident way.
Year 3 pupils learned about the body’s internal organs, with a particular focus on the brain. They discovered how the brain receives and sends messages throughout the body, helping everything function smoothly.
Our Key Stage 1 and Pre-School children explored what our bodies need to stay healthy and work effectively. They learned about the importance of sleep, eating the right foods for energy, and staying active through regular exercise.
The Life Education Bus visit was an engaging and memorable experience for all pupils. It provided them with essential knowledge and practical skills to help them make informed, healthy choices now and in the future.
A truly amazing experience for everyone involved!

All Saints Church Remembrance Service
Two of our pupils had the honour of representing the school at the All Saints Church Remembrance Service this year. They joined local residents in paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in service to the country. The students placed a wreath on behalf of the school, participating in a moment of silence and reflecting on the significance of the day. Their involvement was a meaningful way to connect with the wider community and uphold the values of remembrance and respect. It was a proud moment for both the pupils and the school.

Year 6 led the service with confidence and warmth, guiding the congregation through reflections on gratitude and giving. Each class contributed beautifully with heartfelt poems, uplifting songs, and thoughtful prayers, making it a truly special occasion that brought our school community together in celebration and thanks.

🫀 Restart A Heart Live
This week, most of our school took part in Restart A Heart Live, joining thousands of others across the country to learn vital life-saving skills. Pupils engaged in hands-on CPR training and discovered how to use a defibrillator in an emergency. It was an inspiring and empowering experience, helping our students understand how they can make a real difference in critical situations.

WC 15th September 2025
Our pupils took part in the DEMAT football competition on Friday and delivered an outstanding performance— winning eight matches, drawing one, and losing just one to finish 4th overall. But the real highlight was being awarded the Best Sportsmanship trophy, a huge honour voted for by all the other schools. This recognition reflects the team’s respect, teamwork, and positive attitude both on and off the pitch. We couldn’t be prouder! ⚽👏

WC 8th September 2025
We’re thrilled to announce that thanks to the incredible fundraising efforts of our PTA, our school now has a full set of iPads and laptops for pupils to use across the curriculum. Each device is safely encased to help protect against screen breakages—keeping our tech secure and ready for learning.
This generous support means our students can explore, create, and collaborate more than ever before. From coding to research projects, the possibilities are endless.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved—we’re so grateful for your dedication to enhancing our learning environment!
